Marianne Wessman’s blue floral Mon Amie has been one of Rörstrand’s biggest success stories over the years. After making its debut on a tea set in 1952, the now classic pattern was used to decorate an entire series of tableware over the following years.
Mon Amie was in constant production until 1982. In 2009, appropriately enough the year when Marianne celebrated her 80th birthday, her partnership with Rörstrand was re-established. This resulted in a tall latte mug, side plate and breakfast bowl.
It’s not for nothing that Marianne is known as the mother of Swedish porcelain. In April we will see a further four new additions to the Mon Amie family: a cup with a handle, a jar with a lid, a large cup and a dinner plate.
The range will be available in stores from week 14.
